About Artist Christopher Beikmann

A Denver, Colorado based digital collage artist and photographer, Christopher Beikmann’s works are often focused on spirituality including Buddhism, Hinduism, Christian and Nature based belief systems. His artwork has been collected and featured internationally in several magazines and by various organizations including: The National Buddhist Library of Singapore, Dhamma Aid Asia, The Interfaith Foundation and Alternatives St. James Church in the UK and the International School for Esoteric Studies. His works have also been licensed for use by Sony Pictures Television and on accessories in the US.

Beikmann's artwork is unique in that he has traveled the world photographing flora, fauna, religious idols, architecture, textures and landscape to create his original photo collage works. He does not sample from others photos or use stock photography in any of his artwork. Each collage is digitally created from layering and painting his original photos together over several hours, sometimes even weeks before being printed on museum quality archival materials.

Artist Statement

'I consider myself a very spiritual person, but not bound to any one specific belief system. It is with my art that I try to share my own exploration of world religion, mythology, and metaphysics and the spiritual beauty of nature around us. I hope that my artwork inspires others to travel, learn, and discover the many cultures, people and spiritual traditions in this beautiful world in which we live. You may discover we’re all more alike than different in every way.” ~ Christopher Beikmann

"I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right. It's just that the translations have gone wrong." ~ John Lennon
